RESTART-DCM Workshops for SLTs
START together with the University of Canterbury is excited to be hosting two in person RESTART-DCM workshops for SLTs in February 2024. The first is in Christchurch from Monday 12th to Wednesday 14th February 2024 and the second is in Auckland from Tuesday 20th to Thursday 22nd February 2024.
RESTART-DCM is a structured indirect approach to stuttering therapy for children aged 2 to 6 years and the workshop will be facilitated by Marie-Christine Franken from the Netherlands.

START coordinates monthly ‘Meet and Eat’ lunchtime advice and guidance sessions for speech language therapists working with people who stutter.
These are 60-90 minute sessions via Zoom. You will be allocated 15-20 minutes to discuss your case. You can opt to just stay for your allocated time or for the whole session.
