This course is suitable for SLTs working with preschool aged tamariki who stutter. You’ll come away from this course with an understanding of how you can best support tamariki and their whānau, from the first kōrero right through to the end of your support. We’ll cover many of the well-known and researched therapy programmes, as well as practical ideas that are based on research and clinical experience.

You’ll come away from this course with an understanding of how you can best support tamariki and their whānau, from the first kōrero right through to the end of your support. We’ll cover many of the well-known and researched therapy programmes, as well as practical ideas that are based on research and clinical experience.

This course contains 18 individual lessons, plus 3 case studies and should take approximately 3 hours to complete.

Once you have purchased this course, you will have 4 weeks to complete the course. At the end of 4 weeks, you will no longer have access to the online course. A workbook will be provided for you to take notes in.

  • You must have completed the Foundational Course for Speech Language Therapists prior to completing this course.
